The Troy Colt Bands program is a thriving community of student musicians at Troy High School in Troy, Michigan. Our ensembles offer students the opportunity to develop their musical skills, build lasting friendships, and perform at a high level. We welcome parents, alumni, and community members to engage with our program and support the next generation of musicians.

Becoming a part of the Troy Colt Bands is an exciting opportunity to grow as a musician and performer. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, there is a place for you in our program. Our audition process is simple and designed to help place students in the right ensemble for their skill level.
Signup
Interested students should fill out the audition interest form and review the required materials for their instrument or section.
Audition
Students will perform selected pieces and scales for our directors to showcase their skill level and musicianship.
Placement
Based on their audition, students will be placed in the appropriate ensemble that best suits their experience and abilities.
